Little Learners Lab
Biweekly Schedule

In this hands-on, play-based program, toddlers and preschoolers are invited to build structures, make discoveries, ask big questions, and embrace the joy of a little mess. Together, through different STEAM activities, children will grow in curiosity, creativity, and confidence as they experiment with the world around them.
Biweekly on Tuesdays - 11:15am - 12:15 pm

Family STEAM Night
Monthly Schedule

Join in for a Family FUN night with a STEAM learning spin! Each month on the second Thursday, families gather in the main library for a family-friendly activity in the genre of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and/or Math. Everyone will also be welcome to help themselves to a STEAM-y hot delicious beverage!
Monthly on Thursdays - 6-7pm

2026 Eagle Watch
Saturday, January 17th

Free community event co-hosted by Columbia Gorge Discovery Center & Museum and Army Corp of Engineers (The Dalles Dam). Join us as we celebrate these amazing birds, upon their return to the Columbia River to nest.

FREE Little Libraries

Supported by The Roundhouse Foundation and Oregon Community Foundation and Four Rivers Early Learning & Parenting Hub, CG STEM Hub will install up to 20 free little libraries throughout Gilliam, Hood River, Sherman, Wasco and Wheeler Counties.
We are currently looking for organizations, business owners and landowners interested in receiving and stewarding a Little Library. Libraries will be built by regional students in STEM & CTE Programs, and come filled to the brim with books to start!
