Oregon’s regional STEM Hubs have come together to archive engaging, hands-on science lessons. Each “bite” can be done at home, in a classroom, or in a program space - using everyday materials.

AI Modules: K-5

AI Mini Lessons : K-2
Download our digital, ready-to-go lessons - featuring 15 minute mini lessons. Our lessons feature our fun robot, "Byte" and friends!

AI Mini Lessons : 3-5
Download our digital, ready-to-go lessons - featuring mini lessons that introduce upper Elementary-aged learners to how AI is impacting us today, and what the future might hold. Our lessons feature Digital Defender Superheroes and cyber villains.

Maker Club
This curriculum introduces children in grades 4-8 to the maker mindset, aiming to inspire creativity, enhance problem-solving skills, and encourage perseverance. The activities expose children to design thinking and various "making" activities.

Computational Thinking
This guide includes "unplugged" computational thinking activities using everyday materials, and was part of an initiative supported by Governor Kate Brown’s GEER funds to increase equitable access to Computer Science education for Oregon students.

STEM Early Learning Guide
Created in partnership with Childcare Partners, this guide provides practical strategies for early educators and childcare providers to incorporate STEM learning into their classrooms.
